If you are a business owner and you manage your own time entries and billing then you might want to check out QuickBooks. Quickbooks has been built from the ground up to help you keep track of your information in a quick and efficient manner.

QuickBooks was built with you in mind. While QuickBooks does have a plethora of feature designed to save your time. All of the features included in QuickBooks were designed so that someone with little to no accounting knowledge can use them just as quickly and efficiently as a industry veteran. Maybe even faster if they are not using QuickBooks and you are!

Desktop Version

There are a couple different versions of QuickBooks that you may want to look at trying out to see which one better suits your lifestyle. You can buy QuickBooks for PC, which is software you would install right on your computer. This version makes the most sense if you work from one location most of the time. Whether that be a office at the comfort of home or a office in a high rise luxury corporate building. This version has the benefit of always being available as long as you can access the computer it is installed on. No matter your internet status you will always be able to access your data.

Web-Based Version

However if you are the type to travel or you like to take a trip to a coffee shop and sit down to get work done then the web based version may make more sense for you. The web based version has essentially all of the same features as the desktop version, the only difference is that your data will be saved on the cloud instead of natively on your computer. This means that you could access you data from any computer that is connected to the internet.

This can be extremely beneficial especially if you have some sort of catastrophic data loss happen on your computer. All of your data would be safe on the cloud.

Choosing Version

If you can’t decide what version is best for you right now then do not worry. There are plenty of resources out there to help you decide which version would be best for you. Personally, I think the web version is slightly better since you can access your data from any computer connected to the web and your companies’ data will be secured on the cloud. Although if you do not trust the cloud and want to secure your files yourself I could see the Desktop version feeling a lot more secure for some users.

No matter what version you ultimately decide to get I am confident that you will have a great experience using QuickBooks features such as Quickbooks time tracking or the time tracking app to make your life much easier. QuickBooks can revolutionize your experience managing your data so be sure to give them a chance as soon as you can!
