EFT Technique: Dealing with Childhood Sexual Abuse

EFT Technique – Victims of sexual abuse can heal.

Childhood sexual abuse is a tragedy that leaves the victims with a variety of emotional issues. Victims are sometimes left to deal with guilt, embarrassment, anxiety, low self-esteem, trust issues, feelings of inadequacy, isolation and shame. Additionally, they may often suffer from unexplained pain, addictions, eating disorders and a variety of other mental health challenges.

Some survivors of sexual abuse at the hands of a family member, may have very vague memories. They may feel that something happened, but just don’t remember. These victims may suffer from the same emotional issues as those who do remember the abuse. Your mind has the amazing ability to block out horrific events so that you can survive. Even though you may not have all of the memories, your subconscious remembers them, and can sneak up on you at any time.
Facing and accepting your abuse is vital for you to live a full and complete life. Whether you remember the abuse vividly or vaguely, your subconscious holds these memories and they are holding you prisoner to the abuse.

It is possible to tap on those things that you don’t remember. While tapping use statements like, ”Those things my father did to me”, or “The pain involved with the things my brother did to me”. Again, you may not remember, but your subconscious does.
